Los Angeles Maternity Session – Lauren & Lucas

These are the sessions I pinch myself over! This gorgeous couple came into the studio and trusted me with this incredible and special milestone…their upcoming baby. Lauren opted to do makeup for the session and Shannon did an INCREDIBLE job enhancing her beauty. Lauren picked some fabulous pieces from the maternity session wardrobe and off we went! We actually just stepped outside the doors of the studio and got some beautiful shots in the yard before went indoors. All those years of replacing every plant in the flower beds and growing beautiful things paid off…such a cool moment!

When I renovated the studio space I really wanted to build in backdrop walls and I am obsessed with how these are photographing and how everything has come together. The white wall with molding is a favorite among my clients and I just love the way this LED wall photographs with flowing fabric. The backlighting options are so fun! Yes, that is an LED wall and not a window! Such a fun installation and gives me great options for “natural light” shots.
